Jackson Wren is an attorney at Barton Law Firm in Kerrville, Texas, where he represents clients with empathy, creativity, and a steadfast commitment to justice.

Licensed to practice law in both Texas and California, Jackson brings a diverse background in law and business to every case.

A Baylor University graduate, Jackson earned his B.B.A. in 2015 with a triple major in entrepreneurship, management, and real estate. During his undergraduate years, he founded a collegiate apparel company, which he successfully ran for three years before selling in 2017. The same entrepreneurial drive led him to launch Nightlight Donuts & Coffee with his identical twin brother in 2018. Starting with a single food truck, they expanded to a brick-and-mortar shop and multiple satellite locations before selling the company in 2024. In addition to his entrepreneurial work, Jackson co-taught a course in Baylor Law School’s Executive LL.M. in Litigation Management, focusing on case valuation and damage modeling. He also authored the chapter “Valuation and Damage Models” in the book Proving Damages to the Jury.

Jackson earned his J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2020 and later completed a Master’s in Accounting from the University of California, San Diego in 2023. He began his legal career as a public defender with the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office, standing alongside clients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives—a commitment that continues to define his approach to practicing law today.
