Alexis Norwood is an attorney at The Barton Law Firm, where she advocates for individuals harmed by abuse, negligence, and injustice. A Baylor Law School graduate, Alexis developed a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy through Baylor’s nationally recognized Practice Court program, where she trained extensively in trial strategy, evidentiary procedure, and persuasive storytelling. Her legal training emphasized preparation, clarity, and the responsibility of standing confidently before a judge or jury.

Before joining The Barton Law Firm, Alexis worked in complex estate planning and family office advisory, guiding families through high-stakes financial and legal decisions. That experience strengthened her strategic thinking and attention to detail, both technically and interpersonally—skills she now brings to the courtroom on behalf of clients facing life-altering trauma. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Alexis values community, integrity, and the courage it takes to pursue justice. Outside the office, she enjoys live music, the outdoors, video games, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
